Easy Marshmallow Caramel Popcorn!
Next time you have a craving for some delicious caramel corn, just whip up this quick and easy popcorn recipe and you will be good to go. This has got to be the easiest caramel popcorn recipe ever!
Mmm. Looking at these pictures is making me want to whip up this caramel corn again tonight! I have all of the ingredients on hand right now, so this could totally happen. 
Gooey, sweet, caramel corn in just a few minutes!
All you need is a bag of marshmallows, brown sugar, butter, and popcorn. That’s it! It is super easy to use microwave popcorn for this recipe. The butter flavored microwave popcorn adds a nice sweet and salty flavor to the caramel corn. Or you can pop your own popcorn from kernels, if you prefer. If you do not use a salted or buttered popcorn, I recommend using a salted butter in the sauce or adding a pinch of salt in when you add the marshmallows.

This easy caramel popcorn sauce can be made on the stove top or in the microwave. It doesn’t get much easier than this! Plus, it really does taste delicious and a bit addicting. I love a good, sweet popcorn treat! You will want to keep coming back for more. (And it goes without question that the kids love it too.)
Ingredients
- 1 10-ounce bag of marshmallows
- 1 cup margarine or butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3-4 bags microwave popcorn (about 20-25 cups)
Instructions
- Sift the popcorn into a large bowl by hand, discarding the unpopped kernels.
- In a medium saucepan, bring the brown sugar and butter to a boil. Add the marshmallows and reduce heat. Stir until combined. Pour over the popcorn and stir to coat. Let cool. Serve.
- Heat the sugar and butter in a large microwave-safe bowl in the microwave until melted. Stir and add the marshmallows; microwave for 1-2 minutes, until melted. Stir to combine, then pour over popcorn, stir to coat, and let cool.
